A magnetism. Impossible attraction.
Awed hearts ne'r beat with such vigor to meet,
Crossing time to collide in stupefaction.
Oh the sound of love were never so sweet!
At the last my heart is given as treat,
In exchange his heart; joyous satisfaction!
Tender love, always softly spoke he greets
Me. His spirit sings in awed adoration!
Anon my soul will dance, my love accrete!
Beloved one of my dreams' consummation!
Forever remain with me, my helpmeet,
That I may calm you in your calefaction.
And forever may our love, our union endure;
Blessed always, seeking God in love deepest, pure.

Feiry Eyes
Fire dances in your eyes.
Your warmth spreads under my skin.
Pain lets none tranquilize
The fear seeded within.
I'm so afraid. I'm lost, but you say
Come find me.
Kiss my lips and know you'll never need.
Come find me.
Search my heart and you'll see.
Come and get me.
I'll dive your depths and set you free,
If you'll come find me.
Though I saw how it would end,
Still I ran toward it.
Far from my love, my friend,
To a life I cannot remit.
Yet still your fire warms my heart,
Though it lacks the concept.
Treat me as though we're not apart.
But will I ever accept?
I try to run away. You reach out to say
Come find me.
Kiss my lips and know you'll never need.
Come find me.
Search my heart and you'll see.
Come and get me.
I'll dive your depths and set you free,
If you'll come find me.
The fire burns as I turn to walk away.
Bid me fly on wings of hawks, and say
"It doesn't matter what you've done,
Please come"
I've tried that life and now I'm done.
Bid me come.
Invite me in and I'll stay.
"Please stay"

The Great Blood Beast: Part 9
She slowed down.
The jaguar appeared with a frown.
"Why didn't you turn around?"
She had nothing to say,
Except, "I was afraid."
The jaguar morphed and said,
"Have you not learned yet?"
She opened her mouth,
But he spoke instead.
"You fear too much,
Even his touch.
That mob would have stopped
If you had just stayed.
Why did you run away?"
She had nothing to say,
Only flooding tears that strayed.
He said, "It nears the time.
The sun will soon rise.
Soon, you will open your eyes.
Do not fear what you will find."
She looked back again,
At the love she felt for him.
"When will this love begin?
I can not wait for him.
What will I do, Talon?"
Tears streaked her chin.
"What will I become,
If I choose to run?
Can I ever know his love
When fear overcomes?"
He sat her beside him.
For a lulling moment
They listened to the wind.
"Dear child, you must overcome.
If you fear, then the bloody beast won.
Stand tall, dare not to run.
Stay the course and be strong.
And you will find your beloved one."
She had to make a choice.
"Child, listen for the Master's voice.
You must hear through all the noise."
The time had come.
She could feel the sun.
The violet water had turned to brun.
She felt sick and faint at once.
Her head rang with a violent hum.
He caught her before she fell.
Where she was, she couldn't tell.
Her head burned as if in Hell.
Then blackness was all she felt.
She gasped for air.
Eyes closed tight.
Gripping the ground
With all her might.
The morning was there,
Though silent as night.
Her eyes grew round,
Taking in the light.
Is this home?
The jaguar appeared with a frown.
"Why didn't you turn around?"
She had nothing to say,
Except, "I was afraid."

Lurking
Here's an unfinished lyric I was working on a few months ago. I have yet to finish part 9 of The Great Blood Beast.
The beast waits inside of your soul.
He'll tear your heart and eat you whole.
And he waits for to taste
The bitterness and life you waste.
Don't lose the battle inside.
Don't let it take your life.

The Great Blood Beast: Part 8
Someone called for her.
She'd heard his voice once before.
She jumped at the sound,
Thinking I've been found!
Her brokenness was over.
Her savior had come.
She stood up to run.
Doubts lurked on her back.
He might attack.
She had journeyed to far to turn.
The doubts and fears bubbled inside
And made her scars burn.
She screamed and fell,
With every pain conjured in hell.
He shouted, "Rochelle!".
He sat by her side.
Said nothing when she cried,
Only held her tight.
He smelled a bit like cologne,
Though he wore non.
His curly blonde hair
Was wild and undone.
His skin was soft
And his arms were strong.
His sodalite eyes
Like a true Celtic son.
Her heart was light,
And with relief she cried,
But fight or flight
Made nothing feel right.
With fear and hesitation,
She leaned close and gave in.
He stroked her chin
And gently kissed her lips.
It never seemed to end,
But she loved the sensation.
She knew then that she loved him.
She heard footsteps again.
With gasps and angery muttering,
A hundred feet pattering,
They threatened to put him away.
She knew every one of them,
His family and his friends.
She should have known then
What he had given to see her that day.
The love in his eyes was genuine,
But she saw the mob troubled him.
He kissed her again,
Holding her hand.
He felt electric on her skin.
Still the mob came.
More distance they gained.
Angrier they became,
But calm he remained.
She stared deeply at him,
Then she ran away.
He jumped up and ran
To catch her again,
But the mob was faster.
They'd never let him catch her.
She had escaped, and then
Turned back, then ran again.
She'd run 'til the end of day,
But would regret this always.

Tempest
My heart draws to him,
But circles 'round them;
Two lovers, drawn in
By a lustful whim.
A tempest heart
Tearing apart
Like a wounded lark's
Song. A broken part.
For I ran away,
To a lusting sway
Of bodies in play.
And my heart is weighed.
But he calls me there,
To innocent love and care.
Where our hearts share,
Even 'cross oceans and air.
Silently, he calls me.
His pacific eyes see
My shame pulling me to sea,
Far from my committed tragedy.
But he calls. I say enough!
No more of this lust.
I'm running back to love.
Though it's tough...

Dreaming of Love
Here's a poem from the beginning of last year. I haven't worked on the Epic Poem in a while, but am hoping to get part 8 finished very soon. Until then, enjoy this new poem. :)
Take me away.
Bury my face in your neck.
You stay,
You embrace me.
I'm taken aback.
I'm drowning,
In this feeling.
My heart bursts.
How could you love this broken mess?
How could you love one so cursed?
Kiss my forehead,
Kiss my hair.
My tears are falling
From your loving care.
Your mother disapproves.
But you know,
I'm good for you.
I'll love you more
Than you've ever known.
Your voice is sweetly soft
As you say "I love you".
Then I wake to an empty room.
'Twas merely a dream,
Leaving my heart consumed
With an echoing pain.
Take me away.
Bury my face in your neck.
You stay,
You embrace me.
I'm taken aback.
I'm drowning,
In this feeling.
My heart bursts.
How could you love this broken mess?
How could you love one so cursed?
Kiss my forehead,
Kiss my hair.
My tears are falling
From your loving care.
Your mother disapproves.
But you know,
I'm good for you.
I'll love you more
Than you've ever known.
Your voice is sweetly soft
As you say "I love you".
Then I wake to an empty room.
'Twas merely a dream,
Leaving my heart consumed
With an echoing pain.
